A crypto deposit passes through the blockchain first and the casino’s accounting system afterwards. Following that route explains where the money actually is at each stage.

Step 1: The Wallet Builds the Transaction

Before anything reaches the blockchain, the wallet needs an amount, destination address, and network. For someone depositing through spino.com, the important action is to use the deposit details provided for that account and match the selected network in the sending wallet. The transaction can then be signed with the wallet’s private key without revealing that key to the recipient. 

Network choice deserves particular attention. Sending 100 USDT through Ethereum is a different blockchain transaction from sending 100 USDT through TRON, even though both transfers use the USDT name.

The wallet also calculates or displays the network fee before broadcasting. That fee pays for blockchain processing and is separate from the amount being transferred.

Step 2: The Network Records It

Suppose the explorer now shows the transaction as successful. The blockchain has established that the assets reached the destination address, but it has no concept of the user balance displayed inside a casino account.

That second update happens off-chain. The operator or payment processor still has to detect the payment, verify the asset and network, wait for its required confirmations, and connect the transfer with the correct internal account.

This gap also exists outside gambling. Kraken, for example, distinguishes between deposits still receiving blockchain confirmations and funds that have received enough confirmations to be credited internally.

A minimum-deposit rule can add another check. Using an unsupported network can also prevent automatic crediting even when the blockchain transfer itself succeeded.

Why Stablecoins Dominate Crypto Deposits

Stablecoins fit this payment flow particularly well because their value is designed to track a fiat currency. Sending 100 USDT therefore avoids the same price movement that could occur while holding 100 dollars’ worth of BTC or ETH.

The scale is already visible in current data. One Q2 2026 dataset covering 41 centralized crypto casinos found that USDT and USDC accounted for roughly 75% of tracked deposit volume.

That makes accounting easier for both sides. A balance denominated in a dollar-linked token is simpler to compare between deposit and withdrawal than an asset whose fiat value may move substantially during the session.

What Happens When You Withdraw?

Withdrawal starts in the casino’s internal ledger and ends with a new blockchain transaction to the user’s wallet. Once sent, the transfer receives its own hash and is generally irreversible, so the destination address and network should be checked carefully.
