Tier 1: Common
Commons are free Blooks available to everyone by default, regardless of whether they have a Blooket account. They can’t be sold, since they are free, nor can they be purchased with Tokens. There are 49 obtainable Common Blooks.
Commons are available through 5 Free Packs: Farm Animal, Pet, Forest Animal, Tropical Animal, and Arctic Animal. Every player has access to all 49 Commons immediately — they form the baseline of every new account’s collection.
Collector Note: Commons cannot be sold and contribute minimally to Blook Score compared to higher rarities. The main value of Commons for experienced players is as casual game avatars while saving rare Blooks for profile display.
Tier 2: Uncommon
Uncommons are Blooks that can only be obtained through opening packs in the market. They are the easiest Blooks to unlock in any pack and show up very frequently when opening many at once. They have a chance of around 12.5–19.625%. There are 73 obtainable Uncommon Blooks.
A common myth is that the 2 of Spades, Eat Me, and Drink Me are the most common uncommon Blooks. However, the Lil Bot and other Uncommons in the Bot Pack and the Dino pack are the most Common Uncommon Blook with a drop rate of 19.5%.
Collector Strategy: Sell duplicates freely. With 73 obtainable Uncommons and drop rates approaching 20%, duplicates accumulate quickly in any serious opening session. Keep one of each for Blook Score; sell every additional copy.
Tier 3: Rare
Rares are Blooks that can only be obtained through opening packs in the market. They have a chance of around 6%–10%.
At a 6–10% rate, players can expect roughly one Rare per 10–17 pack opens. Rares are worth keeping — they contribute positively to Blook Score and don’t appear so frequently that duplicates accumulate rapidly.
Notable Rarity Change: The Zombie used to be a Rare Blook, but when Vampire Bat was released as a new Rare Blook, it dropped to Uncommon. It was likely because there would’ve been too many Rares if it had been kept as a Rare Blook. Blooket does occasionally adjust rarity tiers — the community Fandom wiki tracks these changes.

Tier 4: Epic
Epics are Blooks that can only be obtained through opening packs in the market. They have a chance of approximately 2–5.15%. There are 19 obtainable Epic Blooks.
At a midpoint of roughly 3.5%, expect one Epic approximately every 28–50 pack opens. Every Epic is worth keeping — duplicates are rare enough that pulling a second copy of the same Epic is an unusual event.
Notable Rarity Change: The Zombie and Sandwich are the only Blooks to have their rarity changed. The Sandwich, when unreleased, was meant to be an Epic in the Breakfast Pack, but when the Lunch Pack came out, and the Sandwich was moved there, its rarity became Legendary.
Tier 5: Legendary
Legendaries sit near the top of the standard pack pool with an approximate drop rate of 0.3–1.05%. They sell for high token values and contribute significantly to the Blook Score.
Most notable pack facts:
- Aquatic Pack is the only permanent pack with 2 Legendaries — double the Legendary probability compared to most packs.
- Breakfast Pack is the only permanent pack with 0 Legendaries — avoid it entirely if Legendaries are your goal.
Among Blooks that can still be unboxed, Chroma-tier characters are the hardest to pull. The Megalodon from the Aquatic Pack is noted as particularly rare within the Legendary tier.
Collector Strategy: Keep every Legendary unless you have two or more genuine duplicates of the same one. First-copy Legendaries should never be sold — the Blook Score contribution and rarity both justify permanent retention.
Tier 6: Chroma
Chromas are animated, color-shifting Blooks — visually distinct from all static rarities below them. Chroma blooks are animated high-rarity characters with a drop rate of 0.02% to 0.05%. They resell for 300-500 tokens.
At a 0.03% midpoint, statistically expect one Chroma per approximately 3,333 pack opens from standard packs — roughly 66,660–83,325 tokens worth of investment. This is why the seasonal pack windows are so strategically important.
Seasonal Chroma Advantage: Some seasonal packs, such as Lovely, Lucky, and Spring, guarantee Chroma during their limited availability. Redirecting tokens to these packs during their active window is the single most effective collection strategy available.
Complete Guide About → How to Sell Blooks
These limited-time windows make seasonal Chromas among the most sought-after Blooks in Blooket. If you miss the event, you typically have to wait a full year for the pack to return.
Sell Value: 300–500 tokens, depending on the specific Chroma. Exercise caution before selling — a Chroma may represent thousands of pack opens worth of probability. Unless you have a genuine duplicate, most experienced collectors keep all Chromas.
Tier 7: Unique
Uniques are obtained through special conditions rather than standard pack opening. Wise Caterpillar requires the player to create a set with Khanmigo. Each Unique has its own specific unlock condition independent of token spending.
Uniques, Awarded Blooks, Unreleased/Retired Blooks, and Mysticals are the only Blooks not found in the shop.
Collector Strategy: Complete Unique unlock conditions where possible — they are among the few high-rarity Blooks obtainable through specific effort rather than luck.
Tier 8: Mystical
Mysticals are the final rarest tier. Mystical Blooks were distributed as event prizes during limited-time promotions that have since ended. Most are no longer available. Players must wait for future events that may offer Mystical-tier rewards.
Key facts:
- Mysticals are animated, like Chromas, but even more visually distinctive.
- They are never in any standard or seasonal pack — no token amount can purchase one.
- They sell for 1,000 tokens, but selling a Mystical is near-universally discouraged by the collector community.
- Tim the Alien tops any conversation about rarity. Blooket gave it exclusively to top winners of the 2021 Pokémon Are Cool event, and no other method to obtain it has existed since.
Managing expectations: Several Mystical blooks, Spooky Ghost, Phantom King, Rainbow Astronaut, and Hamsta Claus were prizes from limited-time promotions that have since ended. New players have no current path to these characters.
Many dedicated long-term Blooket players have never owned a Mystical. It is not a failure of effort — it is a feature of the rarity design. Mysticals exist as ultimate status symbols for the most community-involved players at the exact right moment.
