Task 1: Changing Your Email Address
Your registered email is the account recovery anchor — it’s how you receive password reset codes and how support identifies your account. Changing it requires verifying both your old and new email addresses with confirmation codes. Your email address is very important to recover your Blooket account.
The 8-step process involves: Navigate to Settings → Edit Info → Change Email → verify your current email with a code → enter the new email → verify the new email with a second code.
→ Critical: Keep the Blooket window open throughout the process. Closing or navigating away from the page invalidates the verification codes.
→ Common reason: School email accounts are deactivated when students graduate or teachers leave the school. Change your email to a personal address before losing access to your school email.

Task 2: Updating Your Plus Credit Card
If your Plus subscription credit card has expired or been replaced, or you want to change your payment method, Blooket routes all billing changes through the Stripe customer portal.
The 3-step process: Settings → Plan → Edit Subscription → Stripe menu → pencil icon to update card.

Task 3: Cancelling Your Plus Subscription
You can cancel Blooket Plus or Plus Flex at any time. After cancellation, your Plus access continues until the end of your current billing period — you are not cut off immediately.
The 4-step process: Settings → Plan → Edit Subscription → Stripe menu → Cancel Plan → Confirm Cancel Plan.

Task 4: Upgrading to Blooket Plus
Blooket Plus has two individual plans and one group plan:
- Plus (Annual): $4.99/month billed as $59.88/year — best value for regular users
- Plus Flex: Monthly billing at a higher per-month cost — best for short-term or trial use
- Group Plan: For schools purchasing Plus for multiple teachers — accepts Purchase Orders (POs)

Task 5: Deleting Your Account
Before deleting, consider whether changing your email address would solve the actual problem (e.g., school email deactivation). Account deletion is irreversible; email changes are not.
⚠️ Permanent Action: Deleting your account removes all data permanently — Blooks, question sets, game history, tokens, and subscription information — in accordance with Blooket’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. This cannot be undone.

→ Payment processor: All Blooket Plus billing is handled by Stripe, a widely used secure payment platform. Blooket itself does not store your credit card number.
