How Does the Game Work?

1. Matching Capsules

Aim and launch capsules to make a group of three or more of the same color. When you make a match, the capsules fall from the stack. Your launcher cycles through different colored capsules — plan your shots to set up multiple matches at once for higher points.

2. Rescuing Plushies

Shoot the falling capsules to rescue the plushies inside. You can see how many plushies you still need to rescue at the top of the screen. Be careful — if a capsule hits your launcher, the stack drops lower, making the level harder.

Important: To advance to the next level, you must shoot and rescue the required number of plushies.

All 5 Power-Ups Explained

Power-Up Effect
Any Color / Wildcard Can make multiple matches with any color. Only works if it makes a group of 3 or more
Drop Row Drops up to 5 capsules from one row
Drop Area Drops all capsules up to 2 spots away in all directions
Free Row Automatically rescues up to 5 plushies from one row
Free Area Automatically rescues all plushies up to 2 spots away in all directions

Empty Capsules: When your energy runs out, and a question is coming, empty capsules appear. They don’t stick to other capsules but can still hit falling ones.

How Do Questions Work?

When your energy runs out, and no capsules are falling, questions from the question set appear. You might see 1, 2, or 3 questions at a time, depending on your playing style — this helps keep the playtime-to-question ratio consistent without abruptly interrupting the game. Answer correctly to keep playing and earn more points.

Scoring System

Three ways to earn points:

  1. Make matches of 3 or more capsules — Bigger matches = more points
  2. Shoot all the falling capsules in a group — Bonus for clearing a complete drop
  3. Rescue plushies at higher levels — More points per rescue in advanced levels

Lives and Game Over

  • Losing Lives: If the capsule stack reaches the bottom of the screen, you lose a life. If you still have lives left, you get another try at the level.
  • Game Over: When you run out of lives, the game ends. Your final score is recorded.

Advancing Through All 12 Levels

Each new level brings:

  • New capsule colors and harder patterns
  • New power-ups are appearing more frequently
  • More complex capsule configurations
  • Higher point values for advanced-level rescues

Completed levels can be replayed anytime to improve your score — useful if you want to grind for a high score on an earlier level before tackling harder ones.

Strategy Tips for Plushie Panic

Plan multi-match shots. The highest points come from setting up cascading matches — one shot that creates 3 separate color groups of 3+. Take a second before each shot to look for these setups.

Prioritize the Free Area power-up. It rescues plushies in all directions simultaneously, which is the most efficient way to clear the plushie requirement and advance.

Don’t panic about the stack dropping. When a capsule hits your launcher and the stack drops, new players often rush their next shots and make things worse. Take a breath, reassess the board, and aim deliberately.

Use Wildcards to break deadlocks. When you have a color distribution where no matches are possible, a Wildcard breaks the situation immediately. Save them for moments when you’re truly stuck.

Answer questions correctly on the first try. Multiple wrong answers during a question break cost you empty capsules (which complicate the board) and delay your return to gameplay.
