Blooket Game Modes For Students

Blooket Game Modes: Complete Student Guide to All 25+ Modes (2026)

Blooket offers over 15+ game modes you can play live, solo, or to complete a homework assignment. Every mode uses the same question-and-answer foundation — you answer correctly to progress — but what “progress” looks like is completely different in each one.

All Blooket Game Modes for Students

This detailed guide explains all the Blooket game modes for students, so you know exactly what to expect before you play.

Three Ways to Play Blooket Games

Before diving into specific modes, here’s the key difference between the three ways you’ll encounter Blooket games:

  1. Live Games (Teacher Hosts): Your teacher starts a session and shares a game code. You and your classmates join at the same time and compete together in real time. Your teacher picks the game mode — you don’t get to choose.
  2. Solo Play: You log into your Blooket account, find a question set on the Discover page, and start a game by yourself. You pick the mode. Great for independent studying or just having fun.
  3. Homework: Your teacher creates an asynchronous assignment with a deadline. You access it via a link or QR code, pick a mode from the ones your teacher allows, and play until you hit the Correct Goal (the number of correct answers) — no need to be online at the same time as anyone else.

Not every mode is available in every format. The table below shows which modes fall into which category.

All Live Blooket Game Modes Explained

Battle Royale — Intense, Competitive Showdowns!

Players face off in 1v1 (or team vs team) showdowns and try to be the last Blook standing.

Stat Value
Skills Speed & Accuracy
Difficulty Simple
Ideal Time 7 min
Questions Synced Prompting, Normal Frequency
Players 2 min / 8+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: You’re matched against another player. The same question appears for both of you at the same time. Whoever answers correctly more often wins the matchup. Losers are eliminated, but keep playing on the sidelines. The bracket narrows to a final winner.

Student Strategy: Speed matters most. Answer fast, even if you’re not 100% sure — in a 1v1, hesitation loses. Use the question’s wrong answers to eliminate options if you’re unsure.

Blook Rush — A Fast and Strategic Scramble!

Players answer questions to take Blooks from other players or defend their own.

Stat Value
Skills Speed & Strategy
Difficulty Normal
Ideal Time 7 min
Questions Self-Paced, Normal Frequency
Players 2 min / 8+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: Correct answers give you a choice: Attack (steal a Blook from another player) or Defend (protect your own Blooks). The player with the most Blooks at the end wins.

Student Strategy: When you’re ahead, switch to Defend mode. When you’re behind, attack the player in first place — steal their Blooks and close the gap fast.

Classic — Good Ol’ Fashioned Blooket!

Compete by answering questions quickly to earn points and climb the leaderboard.

Stat Value
Skills Speed & Accuracy
Difficulty Simple
Ideal Time 5 min
Questions Synced Prompting, High Frequency
Players 2 min / 6+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: Everyone sees the same question at the same time. Faster correct answers = more points. A live leaderboard updates after each question. Pure knowledge and speed — no luck involved.

Student strategy: The simplest mode to win: know the material and answer fast. Use the first two seconds to eliminate obviously wrong choices before committing.

Racing — Exhilarating, Suspense-Filled Action!

Answer opponents’ questions and use power-ups to reach the finish line first.

Stat Value
Skills Speed & Accuracy
Difficulty Simple
Ideal Time 5 min
Questions Self-Paced, High Frequency
Players 2 min / 10+ ideal / 60 free / 60 Plus

How it works: Correct answers move your Blook forward along a racetrack. Power-ups can boost your speed or slow opponents. First to the finish line wins — not the highest point total.

Student strategy: Power-ups are your equalizer. If you’re behind, use a boost or obstacle at the right moment. A student in 6th place can still win with a well-timed power-up chain.

Gold Quest — Exciting Twists and Chests Full of Gold!

Build your riches by answering questions to earn gold and take it from other players.

Stat Value
Skills Speed & Luck
Difficulty Simple
Ideal Time 7 min
Questions Self-Paced, High Frequency
Players 2 min / 5+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: Correct answers unlock chest selections. Chests contain gold, multipliers, or steal/swap techniques. You can steal gold from classmates — and they can steal from you.

Student strategy: If you’re in the lead, pick the smallest, safest chests to protect your gold. If you’re behind, go for chests that trigger steal techniques to shake up the rankings.

Crypto Hack — Some Super Secure and Chaotic Hacking Fun!

Answer questions to mine Crypto and hack others to steal their riches.

Stat Value
Skills Memory & Speed
Difficulty Normal
Ideal Time 8 min
Questions Self-Paced, Normal Frequency
Players 2 min / 8+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: Correct answers mine Crypto. You can also use answers to hack other players’ wallets and steal their Crypto. To defend, set a password — if someone hacks you, type your password to block the theft.

Student strategy: Set a memorable, short password immediately after mining. Don’t make it so complex that you’ll forget it. Players who forget their own passwords lose Crypto to every hack attempt.

Fishing Frenzy — Cast, Reel, and Prepare for Lots of Surprises!

Cast your line and answer questions quickly to reel in the biggest fish in the sea.

Stat Value
Skills Speed & Luck
Difficulty Simple
Ideal Time 8 min
Questions Self-Paced, High Frequency
Players 2 min / 8+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: Correct answers cast your line. A fish appears — click/tap at the right moment to reel it in. Consecutive correct answers level up your lure, increasing your chances of bigger, more valuable fish.

Student strategy: Don’t stop answering just because you’re catching fish. The lure system means sustained correct answering gives bigger fish. Streaks matter more than any single catch.

Deceptive Dinos — Excavate for Fossils and Watch for Cheaters!

Become the top paleontologist by finding fossils — but watch out for players who are cheating.

Stat Value
Skills Strategy & Speed
Difficulty Normal
Ideal Time 7 min
Questions Self-Paced, High Frequency
Players 2 min / 6+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: Correct answers let you excavate (dig for fossils) or investigate (catch cheaters). If you choose to excavate, you can secretly peek at rock options to find the best fossil — but this makes you a “cheater.” Other players can investigate to catch you and earn bonus points.

Student strategy: Pay attention to who’s investigating often. If you want to use the Cheat option safely, do it when most players are busy excavating. If you’re investigating, look for players making unusually fast fossil selections — they may be peeking.

Monster Brawl — Become the Ultimate Monster Brawler!

Move around the map, answer questions to level up abilities, and survive.

Stat Value
Skills Dexterity & Strategy
Difficulty Normal
Ideal Time 8 min
Questions Self-Paced, Normal Frequency
Players 2 min / 6+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: You control your Blook on a shared map. Correct answers earn XP to level up. Higher levels = stronger abilities in brawls. Move around to collect XP and engage (or avoid) other players.

Student strategy: Early game, answer a burst of questions to level up fast before engaging in brawls. A player who enters a brawl at level 3 versus a level 1 has a major advantage.

Café — Order Up! It’s Time For Some Delicious Food!

Serve food to customers, restock, answer questions, and upgrade your café.

Stat Value
Skills Speed & Strategy
Difficulty Normal
Ideal Time 7 min
Questions Self-Paced, High Frequency
Players 2 min / 8+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: Answer questions to collect food supplies. Serve café customers to earn coins. Spend coins on upgrades that make your café more efficient. The player with the best café at the end wins. Progress saves — you can pause and return later.

Student strategy: Prioritize upgrades that increase your passive income rather than one-time boosts. Early upgrades pay for themselves faster. Use save-progress in homework mode to resume playing across multiple sessions.

Factory — Fast-Paced, Money-Making Madness!

Quickly answer questions to unlock and upgrade Blooks that make virtual cash.

Stat Value
Skills Speed & Strategy
Difficulty Complex
Ideal Time 8 min
Questions Self-Paced, High Frequency
Players 2 min / 6+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: Answer questions at a high rate to earn money. Spend money to unlock Blook workers for your production line. Each Blook has a role that generates income. Upgrade them to increase your earnings rate. The richest factory wins.

Student Strategy: Invest heavily in one type of worker and upgrade it fully before branching out. Spreading investments thinly results in slower overall income. The compound growth from maxing one Blook type significantly outpaces scattered upgrades.

Tower Defense & Tower Defense 2
Action-Packed, Defensive Chaos!

Answer questions, buy towers, and defend yourself from waves of Evil Blooks.

Stat TD1 TD2
Skills Strategy & Accuracy Strategy & Accuracy
Difficulty Complex Complex
Ideal Time 8 min 10 min
Questions Self-Paced, Normal Frequency Self-Paced, Normal Frequency
Players 1 min / 6+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus 1 min / 6+ ideal / 60 free / 300 Plus

How it works: Answer questions to earn coins. Use coins to buy and place towers (your Blook characters) along a path. Towers auto-attack enemy waves. Enemies walk toward your base — if they reach it and deplete your base health, the game ends. Survive as many rounds as possible.

Student strategy: Place towers in a staggered pattern along the path, not clumped at one point. Spread coverage prevents enemies from slipping through early waves before your high-damage towers activate.
